I like it. :3 Maybe there can be a little bit o' adding later on, after your muse returns, but otherwise, it covers everything pretty well, in my opinion.
Appearance: Kiara is a yellow, golden lioness. She is closer to her father's color than her mother's, but she isn't an exact replica of either. She brown eyes like her father, but is lithe like her mother. You could say she looks a lot like her father, but you can definately see her mother as well. Personality: Kiara is very adventorous. She was always getting into trouble when she was younger. Her heart is as courageous as her father and mother combined. Like her father, she never turns down a fight. It's hard for her stop, even when it gets out of hand. You will almost never see Kiara just sitting around, doing nothing. That girl is always doing something. History: Kiara was born to the king and queen, Simba and Nala. Even though Kiara is meant to be the queen of the Pridelands, she has always felt kind of, alone. Then she met Kovu. She felt like that made her other half. But Kovu had come from the Outlands. The followers of Scar. But Kiara didn't care. She still loved him, and he loved her. With eacothers help, they stopped their two prides from feuding and the Outlanders joined the Pridelands. But in the process, Kovu lost his powerhungry mother. Kiara almost died as well. But she luckily lived. She is still the princess of the Pridelands, but with Kovu at her side as prince. Someday, those two will rule the Pridelands.
Contacts: Aim-flamingstream Role-Play Sample: Kianga walked out of the den. Her mouth opened in a big yawn. After the yawn she picked up speed and pounded off of Priderock and onto the soft grassy planes of the Pridelands. Her eyes flicked from side to side, searching for another cub. When one wasn't found she layed down and began to groom herself. She was very bored. Too bad one of her 'friends' that she makes fun of wasn't there. Her eyebrows frowned at the thought of no one being there. Oh come on. She thought to herself. Everybody's around when I want to be left alone. But when I want someone to be there, I'm the only one awake. For it was early dawn. She wasn't able to sleep, so she decided to go outside. But to her dismay, nobody was there.

I'm not trying to start any bad blood here, but Kgosi is right. On the original forum of Akello Amani (which was led by the same admin), it was asked if you could have as natural a character as possible. While the Lion King universe ma be fictional, it was based on real lions with subtle tweaks. You make a valid point about Zazu (a hornbill) not being the natural choice as the babysitter and aide for a lion cub and his father. Then again, much of that universe has been adjusted to better fit the storyline while seeming as realistic as possible. For example, lions don't normally talk, do they?
Really, we're not trying to be nasty -- please don't take it that way -- but maybe a few design tweaks would be nice. As for the profile itself, I like it. THe only other tihng I have to sy about it, and this is being picky, is simply to describe her a bit more in the appearance and personality areas and adding a few more sentences to your roleplay sample. The minimum limit is two paragraphs.

I was under the impression this was a Lion King forum and thus based of fantasy any how...not reality. There's no such thing as a toucan baby sitting a lion cub either.
Re: Nefertiti « Result #6 on Jan 24, 2008, 12:00am »
I can't accept or decline, but I'm just pointing out there is no such thing as an Egyptian Lion, nor such thing as a neon yellow and white lion. Even if Nefertiti was a white lion, she would be unable to hunt for herself because of their lack of being able to blend in and because of their painful skin peeling, which is sunburn, because of their light fur and skin.
I'm interested how this revolves around King Tut and all, but the only kind of big cat I know that once lived in Egypt / deserts was the Barbary Lion, which is now extinct, and it is scarcely possible that some still exist in captivity. So ... ^^;
Name: Nefertiti Age: 2 Gender: Female Alliance: A now dead nomadic desert pride.
Appearance: Nefertiti has bright yellow fur (almost neon yellow) with pure snow white fur on her paws, mouth and under belly. Her teal eyes have an unusual slant to them, with a dark black rim and bright white fur beneath them. As most adolescents she's rather short, with a sleek slender form, very agile with toned defined muscles. Personality: Nefertiti is a calm and rather shy young lioness. She avoids others and tends to keep hidden. Despite her antisocial nature she is a survivor and learned to hunt quickly a very young age, doing whatever it takes to live in a harsh and unforgiving land.
History: A very rare breed of lion, Nefertiti was raised in a nomadic pride of Egyptian Lions lead by her mother Nefertari, and father Akhenaten. For the first year of her life she was a happy cub growing up with her pride and older brother the desert princesses future looked promising, till an Khufu showed up.
When Akhenaten was still an adolescent he lived with his great grandmother's pride, training to be a priest to the lion headed goddess Sekhmet along with his brother Khufu. The two were close friends for most of their lives till Nefertari, a princess from a desert pride, came to receive training as a priestess of Sekhmet. The two brothers fought for the affections of Nerfertari, Akhenaten eventually winning her heart and leaving his family to join Nerfertari's pride once their training was complete.
Years later a year after the birth of their second child Khufu came looking for revenge on the couple. As strong as the pride was they were not prepared for Khufu and his followers. Fearing for her children's lives Nerfertari told her son Tutankhamun to take his sister Nefertiti and hide. Tut reluctantly obeyed, however, when the two siblings came looking for their pride they found only bodies.
Contacts: Role-Play Sample: Snow white paws stood lightly on the ground, as she kept her sleek toned form low to the ground, letting the tall grass hide her. Those alert ears listened for her cue, the sound of her brother's roar to indicate he was chasing the herd in her direction. Her yellow color made it easier for her to hide in the grass as oppose to his more orange fur, even so, this would be her first real hunt. Her mind raced with all her brother's lessons her muscles tensing at the sound of his roar as she stood ready to pounce on the first zebra to cross her path. Additional Notes:
Kgosi [done] « Result #10 on Jan 17, 2008, 4:19am »
Male ligers and tigons are originally sterile and females are fertile, but how boring would that be? I hope no one minds if Kgosi is, infact, fertile. :x Since this is only semi-literate, why not?
Name: Kgosi Age: Midway to adulthood; about two and a half years old. Gender: Male Species:* Liger Alliance: Alone
Appearance: Liger was indeed a sight to behold. Behemoth was monstrous in proportion, large paws to match, equipped with slate talons hidden within digits. Bulky body was indeed accented to be larger than both parentals, a legendary beast among others, rejected. Hercules of the big cats; rare sight was indeed beheld, but by others, rejected due to devilish size. Broad shoulders battlehardy with multiple riddling, pale peach scars some what overgrown with fur. Long tail lacked an eccentric tuft, instead, stressing a rounded edge that often was found curling about and flicking, the slender appendage gifting him with balance. Large head was thick, but intelligence was not ceased. Muzzle was short and rounded like a small barrel, muscles supple and fit for a self-proclaimed outcast.
Instead of a lion, Kgosi was riddled with diffused ochre stripes, starting from the base of his power curved spine. Lighter fur was a fawn color, melting beneath curving stripes. Silky cheek ruff accented the muscular legend, rounded ears nipped and chipped from numerous lost tussles with branches and the underbrush. Eyes were a pale amber, singed with a chalky color that completed the epitome of power that was indeed Kgosi; oh yes, he did live up to his name which ment chief, king. Personality: Kgosi is rather docile, and although it is not easy to flare his darker side, a threat towards one cared for would definitely trigger his alter ego. Even so, it would be obvious that his younger shell had not molted yet. Although some what playful, he can be serious and cautious when approaching those unknown to him. A sincere joker to lighten up the mood, yet some what shy and coy around those he lacks a relationship with, due to refusal to so many things in an early life. History: Kgosi was an only child, a cup produced from a male lion and a rather coy tiger female. For a long time, Kgosi had been refused and depleted from other cubs, feared for his size or considered a threat. His father being King, others would be curious from who his cub was from. To them, he had not taken a mate, but he had; the tigress. Nkiru was a lovely tigress, but her solitary nature would exclude her from a pride's member count. So mysteriously, Kgosi's father, Kirabo, mysteriously vanished from his pride, leaving his cub within the pride, telling only one about his vanishing act: Kibwe, a beautiful lioness in the pride. Finally, after Kgosi left, she announced that she was the one who was Kgosi's mother, and of course, it was a lie, but no one knew. Unfortunately, once Kgosi had began to develope stripes, Kibwe had to leave him. She returned to the pride and announced he had drown in the river. But no, infact, she gave the cub to his mother: Nkiru. Nkiru raised her cub as best as she could, until she finally left him to fend for himself. He was stronger than any one she had ever known at that age. He was a liger.
Once Kgosi returned to his pride, he found Kibwe hunting mice, alone. He approached Kibwe, and the two had a family reunion. Although they were not family, Kibwe had become his temporary mother. He learned that Kibwe had become queen of the pride with her new mate, Masamba, who resembled amber leaves in fall. Kgosi was happy for her, but she told him that he could never return to the pride, that the pride would never accept, especially Masamba, some one who seemed as if he could threaten Masamba's throne. Hurt, and feeling betrayed, Kgosi ran.
Kgosi never returned. Now he lurks within the shadows, rejected an betrayed, never understanding why Kibwe had rejected her. He was large, and it looked like he would threaten Masamba. But he never would of thought on it! Kgosi surrendered to a docile, quietness, but darkness still lurked within, opposing every one. Nothing appealed to him any more.
Contacts: It's hidden, but admins should see my hidden email, no? :< Role-Play Sample:
Rogue snickered and lowered her sleek back head, revealing a strong jaw filled with razor sharp fangs, glinting ever so lightly in the night. It wasn't just her teeth that made her scary; her personality, coldness, no remorse, a long line of murderous wolves, resting on her shoulders until she finally gave in, succumbing to the dark potential that had been handed over to her from Garrote. Rogue sneered and stepped forward gracefully as the mutt turned around. Although she wasn't the tallest, or the strongest, she was sleek and witty, and even a brawny wolf wears out easily, unless it was the athletic type.
Rogue slathered her tongue over her jaws. "And what makes you assume you have such a position to assume that, wolf dog?" The she-assassin growled in an almost sickeningly sappy voice, long and drawn out. "You're just a no-good wolf dog, supposed not a house pet, but I'm not the one protecting a weak man's precious hens," Rogue pointed out, searching frantically for any weak point.
But no, even though pressure points was Rogue's great advantage in battle, she ment weak points in his past, personality, pedigree, any thing that would make him cower, remember, any thing to give her an advantage. Pure wolf, pure cunning, pure fury. "Wolves take what they need, but no, dogs get their food set out in food dishes for them and grow to be fat, gluttonous mutts. Wolves must work to catch their prey, but dogs get their life served to them on plates."
Rogue suddenly smiled. "Oh, you are a very brave dog, yes ..." Rogue sneered, replaced with a cold, pursed lip. "But stupid, foolish."
Rogue raised her head and glanced to the wolf with the hen. He seemed placid, unwilling to fight, but he could easily win. Although Rogue and the male could easily win, Rogue worked alone, and she was glad he hadn't gotten into a fight, if it would of dragged her in so unfortunately as well. She wouldn't waste her breath fighting a dog for prey. She stepped forward and snarled, Rogue swaying her tail slowly, in an aggitated motion. "You may have wolf in your ancestry, you may look like me, but face it, mutt. You and I ..." She said in a laughing, sickeningly condonscending tone, but it died and her throat and was replaced with a cold, dead expression, auburn eyes glowing with pure hate, burnt auburn lamps to light the night.
"But you and I bear no resemblance." Rogue smiled sickenly, and stiffly raised her tail.
